The Parish of Saints Joachim and Anne’s Volunteer Schedule
We have officially gone live with our new scheduling software. The new system will allow all volunteers to go online to view schedules, find subs, update their availability, and connect with other volunteers. By making the scheduling process interactive, we are hoping to make things easier and more efficient for our volunteers.
To use the online version of the scheduling software, an account must be created. If you have not received an email from the system with your login information, please email firstname.lastname@example.org with your name, Ministry position(s) and contact information. If you have any questions, please contact the Parish Office at 952-445-1319
As with any new system, there will be bumps in the road. Please be patient with us as we learn together how best to use the new system.
- What do I do when I am not available when I am scheduled?
When logged into your account, click on the “request sub” link. The system will send out an email to everyone eligible for that position.
- How can I sign up for Christmas or Holy Day Masses?
Because many of our holy day and holiday Mass schedules do not follow the regular Sunday times and locations, we have not scheduled volunteers for these Masses (All Saints, All Souls, Immaculate Conception, Christmas Eve, Christmas). If you know that you are available for any of these Masses, please volunteer now!
- How can I get help with this program?
Plan to attend the lay liturgical ministry forum on the morning of Saturday, October 8, at the Church of St. Mark. We will have people there to help you with this.
- Can I change my password?
When you initially log into your account, you will be prompted to change your password. You can also change your password by clicking on the ‘Change my login password…’ button on the ‘My Profile’ page.
- When should I be at the church for serving my scheduled time?
Servers, lectors, and extraordinary ministers should check in with the sacristan at least 15 minutes before the start of Mass. Ushers should arrive at the back of the church 10-15 minutes before the start of Mass.
- Can I still be an altar server, even if I’m not on the schedule?
Father Erik and Father Michael are almost always happy to have additional trained servers. Check in with the sacristan at least 15 minutes before Mass.
- How can I volunteer for other ministries?
You may request to be added to a particular ministry, but the parish office will only be able to add this to your profile after you have attended a training. Certain ministries require volunteers to complete additional training and background checks, as well as approval by the pastor.
